Book Launch- 'Images 36' AOI annual Best of British Illustration

My Norway hut drawing has been included in this years annual book brought out by the Association of Illustrators. We turned up to the swanky book launch at Somerset House night before last feeling very underdressed and maybe a bit drunk. Got a free Parker pen though, not bad.

Cape Farewell

http://www.capefarewellfoundation.com/home.html

"Cape Farewell works in partnership with scientific and cultural institutions to deliver an innovative climate programme of public engagement. We use the notion of expedition - Arctic, Island, Urban and Conceptual - to interrogate the scientific, social and economic realities that lead to climate disruption, and to inspire the creation of climate focused art which is disseminated across a range of platforms - exhibitions, festivals, publications, digital media and film. "

Whilst researching i came across this project involving people from different walks of life who have joined forces in raising public awareness of climate change; artists, poets, musicans, writers, oceanographers, geoscientists, geographers and environmental scientists have all come together on expeditions to create work that reaches out to the public, engaging a wider spectrum of people with the issue of climate change.

Exhibition up in Brighton

After a long day going up to Oxford and back, hoping to god that the pictures would come down easier than they went up (thankfully they did) loading up the van and ferrying them off to Brighton for round 2 of wrestling with giant frames. But its all up now, if you want to see them they will be on display at Red Roaster cafe in Kemptown, Brighton until 30th September

My Norway little cabin drawing will be on show in the exhibition, i'm very excited about this!
