Screenprinting

I've recently started screenprinting this place in Portslade called Parliament of Feathers. Yesterday i printed some bits to put up in Ground in time for the Artist Open House festival, to be hung on Sunday. So this evening i have been framing frantically, not that i've left it to the last minute...

Towner Gallery Eastbourne

Hannah and I took the bus out to Eastbourne on Tuesday to visit the Towner Gallery. Neither of us had been there before so didn't know what to expect. We went to see this

Gibson / Martelli (igloo) – VISITOR

there was quite a fun installation which involved half a rowing boat that was connected to a computer generated landscape, we were given the map and tried our best to co-ordinate our way through the place. The whole thing was set up inside this house...

and then in the corner of the room they were showing a 40 minute film with footage of the Canadian Rockies which i thought sounded pretty good but it turned out to be on a tiny little tv screen which was a bit of a let down, we thought it would have been much better projected on to the whole end wall.

Stone Farm

First day of the year climbing outside, we went to Stone Farm and it was a beautiful day!
