Upstairs at the Northern Lights Pub, Brighton

I love this place, a small independent Nordic pub nestled in the heart of the South Lanes in Brighton. They serve delicious Scandinavian food and offer a vast array of interesting drinks for far away lands plus some local ales too....

My Norway drawing plus a selection of limited edition etchings and screenprints will be on display throughout December.

I have given a lot of thought recently to whether following this path of being an artist is really a wise thing to be doing. It's scary and unpredictable, it has many ups and downs with rarely very much money. I thought for a while of giving it all up and becoming something else, this seemed sensible and i found the prospect of learning something new quite exciting. But i think somewhere along the line i forgot to look right into the core of myself to see what it is that makes me who i am.

Book Launch- 'Images 36' AOI annual Best of British Illustration

My Norway hut drawing has been included in this years annual book brought out by the Association of Illustrators. We turned up to the swanky book launch at Somerset House night before last feeling very underdressed and maybe a bit drunk. Got a free Parker pen though, not bad.
