find your tribe
We all have a natural habitat:
in the country, by the sea, in the city.
It's in our blood, our natural homeland.
It's where we're most content,
where we flourish.
It's where we find peace.

Cape Farewell
http://www.capefarewellfoundation.com/home.html
"Cape Farewell works in partnership with scientific and cultural institutions to deliver an innovative climate programme of public engagement. We use the notion of expedition - Arctic, Island, Urban and Conceptual - to interrogate the scientific, social and economic realities that lead to climate disruption, and to inspire the creation of climate focused art which is disseminated across a range of platforms - exhibitions, festivals, publications, digital media and film. "
Whilst researching i came across this project involving people from different walks of life who have joined forces in raising public awareness of climate change; artists, poets, musicans, writers, oceanographers, geoscientists, geographers and environmental scientists have all come together on expeditions to create work that reaches out to the public, engaging a wider spectrum of people with the issue of climate change.

Genius Loci: A Sense of Place brings together the work of 14 artists exploring and reflecting
on space and place. Whether specific or imagined, internal or external,
place shapes our memory. It defines our personal stories, weaving us into
the fabric of a greater narrative - our relationship to our home, Earth.
